Homework Hub.
Focused support,
real progress.

A small-group after-school space for students who need extra support getting started, staying focused, and following through. Built around the six learning skills and work habits Ontario report cards evaluate — the skills that quietly shape every student's success.

55-minute sessions
Max 5 students per group

A space to build the habits that make learning work.

Homework Hub is designed for students who know what needs to get done but struggle to start, stay focused, or see a task through. Our primary focus is on task completion — while developing the skills required to perform that work independently and confidently.

That means coaching task initiation, organization, time management, and follow-through while students work through the assignments they've brought from school. When questions come up, we help — but the real focus is on how a student approaches the work, not on delivering concept instruction.

Our framework mirrors the six learning skills and work habits Ontario report cards evaluate: responsibility, organization, independent work, collaboration, initiative, and self-regulation. These are the skills that quietly determine whether a student thrives in school — and the ones that are rarely taught directly.

The six learning skills Ontario report cards evaluate.

Every session is built around the habits that shape student success — the ones that turn effort into outcomes.

01

Responsibility

Following through on commitments, managing materials, and taking ownership of the work at hand.

02

Organization

Planning out assignments, managing time across tasks, and keeping materials and next steps in order.

03

Independent Work

Using class time well, following instructions, and working through tasks without constant prompting.

04

Collaboration

Working alongside peers respectfully — sharing space, listening, and contributing to a shared environment.

05

Initiative

Starting tasks without being asked, seeking help when needed, and approaching work with curiosity and effort.

06

Self-Regulation

Recognizing challenges, managing focus and frustration, and developing strategies to stay on track.

Four things to know before your first session.

01

Bring your own work

Students arrive with the assignments, studying, or projects they already have. We don't teach concepts — we help students move through their work.

02

Small, grade-grouped

Up to 5 students per room, grouped by grade level. One staff per group. Two rooms run in parallel each session.

03

55 focused minutes

Long enough to settle in and make real headway. Short enough to hold attention and leave feeling accomplished.

04

Habits plus homework help

We coach the skills that surround the work — starting, organizing, staying with it — so progress continues well beyond the session.
